That Guy In your Tree: makes Insane Art

Jake makes his living as an Arborist, so if you've seen him around town you may have been looking up. Taking care of trees gives him access to his favorite medium - wood. He begins sculpting with a chain saw and works progressively into smaller wood chisels and gouges, eventually down to fine sandpaper and oil finishes. Jake cannot lie - he chopped down the cherry tree from which he carved this scuplture when clearing a wooded lot for 'development'.

The knot in the forehead worked out nicely. Ever feel like you have to keep smiling even though there's a knot in your forehead?

Intergalactic Space-Time Traveller

The story goes like this: back in 1957 a wicked alien life form was skipping through the universe and got stuck in an Elm sapling right here on our little planet Earth. 60 years later that Elm is cut down because it has Dutch Elm Disease. (anyway that's what the officials claim - you try living 60 years with an extradimensional alien inside you!) Well this tree is removed by none other than Jake the Snake, who being a perceptive young man and student of Carl Sagan's Cosmos, senses something in the Elm wood.

So he "realeases" this 7-foot tall freestanding (yes, no glue, no nails, no pegs - it stands perfectly balanced on it's own two feet) alien dude from the elm log.
